Habitat Destruction

The loss of habitats due to deforestation of forest plantations, this severely impacts biodiversity. When these plantations are chopped down, ecosystems are destroyed, and any wildlife within these forests needs these environments for survival. Before this plantation got chopped down, I was previously doing a project within this forest where you could see squirrels climbing the trees, birds singing, rabbit holes and foxes at night and even rumours of deer roaming these woods. So much wildlife lived in this manmade area, and once it was cleared, so were the animals. The aim of this project is to show the damage and destruction that has been caused by plantations and how deforestation disrupts food chains and displaces wildlife for creating eco friendly fuel sources.
